About these terms

What this site is
The Global Charging Alliance is an independent industry initiative. It publishes information about charging products, the standards that apply to them and the companies that work in the sector.
The alliance is not a standards body, a testing laboratory or a certification body. Nothing on this site constitutes a certification, an approval, a compliance statement or a test result for any product, and nothing on this site should be relied on as legal or regulatory advice.
Accuracy
Material is published in good faith and reviewed before publication. It can still be wrong, and the standards and regulations it describes change over time.
Where a page refers to a third-party standard, the authoritative source is the issuing organisation, not this site. Links to those sources are provided. If you need to rely on a requirement, read the standard itself or take professional advice.
Directory entries
Directory entries are compiled from publicly available information. They are not supplied by the companies listed, and the alliance does not verify them beyond recording the source.
Listing a company does not imply endorsement, recommendation, approval or any commercial relationship. The directory is ordered alphabetically and the order carries no meaning.
Any listed company may request a correction, update or removal under the process described on the corrections and removal page.
Use of the alliance name
No product may be described as "GCA certified", "GCA approved", "GCA tested" or similar. No third party is authorised to issue any certification, mark or approval in the alliance's name. Use of the alliance name in a way that suggests a certification or endorsement that does not exist is not permitted.
Intellectual property
The text, layout and design of this site belong to the Global Charging Alliance unless stated otherwise. You may quote or summarise material with attribution to the alliance and a link to the source page. You may not reproduce substantial portions of the site, or present alliance material as your own.
Trademarks named on this site — including Qi, Qi2, USB, USB-C, USB Power Delivery and Bluetooth — belong to their respective owners. Their use here is descriptive, to identify the standards being discussed.
Links to other sites
Links to third-party sites are provided for reference. The alliance does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, the alliance is not liable for loss arising from reliance on material published here.
