Events
Working group sessions, technical briefings and the annual member meeting. All sessions are online, and summaries are published afterwards.
What the alliance runs
Working group sessions. Regular online meetings where a group drafts material, reviews comments and agrees what goes forward to the advisory council. Members attend; the agenda and the resulting draft are circulated beforehand.
Technical briefings. Sessions where a change in a standard, a regulation or a market requirement is explained, usually within a few weeks of it being published. Briefings are open to members first and published afterwards.
The annual member meeting. Once a year, where the year's material is reviewed, working group scope for the next year is agreed, and the secretariat reports on the directory and the correction process.
Current schedule
No sessions are scheduled. The alliance launched in 2026 and the first working groups are being formed. The schedule will be published here, and announced through the news page and the RSS feed.
If you are a member and want a topic to be the first working group, write to info@globalchargingalliance.com.
How sessions work
| Item | Practice |
|---|---|
| Format | Online, recorded for members who cannot attend |
| Agenda | Circulated at least five working days ahead |
| Minutes | Published to members within five working days |
| Outcomes | Summarised publicly once the material is published |
| Attendance | Members and invited subject-matter experts |
Sessions are not sales opportunities. Companies do not present products, and no session is sponsored.
Speaking at a briefing
Technical briefings are led by people with direct responsibility for the subject — compliance engineers, laboratory specialists, regulators and standards participants. The alliance does not accept speakers whose brief is to promote a product or a service. Approach the secretariat through the contact page with the topic and your relationship to it.
