Privacy
What the alliance collects, why, and what it does not do.
The short version
This website does not set advertising cookies, does not run third-party analytics, and does not sell or share personal information. There is no tracking script on any page.
What is collected
Server logs. The site is served through a content delivery network, which records standard request information — IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp. This is used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic volume. It is not used to build profiles of individual visitors.
Email. If you write to one of the addresses on the contact page, the alliance holds your message and address in order to reply, and to keep a record of the enquiry.
Directory submissions. If you request a correction or removal, the request and the correspondence around it are retained so the change can be evidenced and so the same request is not accidentally reversed later.
What is not collected
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No third-party analytics or session recording
- No tracking pixels, social plugins or embedded third-party media
- No sale, rental or sharing of personal data with third parties for marketing
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own. If cookies are introduced later — for example to remember a preference — this page will list them before they go live.
Your rights
You may ask what information the alliance holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@globalchargingalliance.com and the request will be actioned within thirty days.
Where a company asks for its directory entry to be removed, the entry is deleted. The correspondence relating to that request is retained in order to show that the removal was requested and carried out.
Third-party links
Pages link to the websites of standards bodies, regulators and other organisations. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this notice does not cover them.
